As a longtime fan of Car Seat Headrest, I was humbled to get asked to design a tee for their appearance at their adoptive hometown of Seattle’s Bumbershoot Music & Art Festival.

The creative direction asked to integrate the iconic Seattle gum wall into the design. With a color palette inspired by Fruit Stripe gum and integrating characters from their concept album The Scholars in a nod to vintage gum advertisements, I love the playful result.
